Moving videos

So ever since I started doing a bit of video in regards to the tabletop hobby (be that live streaming on twitch or local recordings) all my videos went to YouTube. Like most creators do.

Simply because there was no good alternative. Now fast forward a few years and PeerTube started to gain traction and be available more readily to N00bz like me. After a few tests I think I found a good home for my videos.

If you are on the fediverse in any capacity (friendica, Mastodon etc) you can follow my channel here: [email protected]

Currently the synch of YouTube and MakerTube is still ongoing. About 250 videos to go so if you follow you’ll see „new videos“ pop up that are old stuff freshly synced.

I hope this will be done by next week and I am sorry to the admins of MakerTube if my move causes any server stress at the moment XD

See you lot next time!

@SunDancer Have you considered streaming to Twitch and Peertube at the same time? I tested this out a while back, and it was pretty cool.
@mgfp Yeah but it’s too much extra work for just doing a weekly waffle about tiny fighting men.
@SunDancer I used Aitum Multistream and found it pretty simple to setup. You can also mirror the main stream to other plafroms to use less resources.
