At the end of the second period of the first game of the day, Ducs d’Angers cling onto a 2:2 score, despite not necessarily deserving it. They suffered strongly from a sluggish pace in the first period and were clearly outplayed by HK Mogo of Latvia.
Next up is Poland’s GKS Katowice vs Denmark’s Herning Blue Fox. This game, I may well be supporting Katowice simply because their fans are out in force.
