It's cool to see. Young people being in sports like this usually means access to an ice rink that is there year round. More diversity in national competitions often come from more equity in access to training spaces.

I was watching skating shorts on YouTube, and I realized that even when they didn't name him, I could recognize Hanyu Yuzuru - san by the arch of his back when his arms were raised.
His artistic style on the ice is unrivaled.
