Hey there, I’m currently trying to publish an app to the Play Store, but apparently need 12 people to beta test it first, and it sadly seems only 3 of my friends use Android. Can anyone else share tips on recruiting beta testers? Thanks!

Why do you need 12 people to beta test? It’s not a play store requirement.

It was added 1 or 2 years ago, can't remember when. Also not sure if it's for new apps or new devs

I just submitted a new app for the first time under a new dev account a few weeks ago and didn’t run into this though, that’s why I’m confused.
