@teissler it’s genuinely puzzling why large companies like Apple often hire middle management externally rather than promoting from within. Existing team members already carry the "product DNA" and deep institutional knowledge that takes years to build. It feels like a missed opportunity to empower the people who already understand the culture best. Is the "fresh perspective" of an outsider really more valuable than proven internal experience?
