I will admit, the fediverse can be complex and confusing to most people.

So we need to build better, for everyone.

Just look at Loops. Notice the lack of webfinger usernames in the comments?

Loops hides the complexity of federation and shows it when needed.

Like when you press the Follow button when logged out.

@dansup i tried to explain Mastodon to someone who wasn't used to Twitter before. It's interesting how their thinking is different and how hard it seems for them to use it. I can't follow the problems, but for them it's real. Most of the open source is really great, but maybe too nerdy UI/Ux.

@joergi Yeah we can def do more to make it easier and not so complicated. I think FASP and other initiatives will do a lot to help.
