It was in 1990, when German radio station HR3 decided to let club DJs play live sets from 9 to midnight every saturday night. When I switched on the radio, the track on air was Abfahrt - Alone (It's me), and I immediatly knew: “That's it. I will listen to this kind of music for the rest of my life.”

My tape recording back in the day started at 1:44:15 with Habit - Fly like an eagle, followed by Clubland - Let's get busy, Liaisons D - He chilled out, and finally Abfahrt - Alone (It's me).
Torsten Fenslau did a hell of a job mixing these tracks. Quite impressive for 1990.
