ICE agents just shot two more people in the Twin Cities. They are now firing tear gas at people at the scene of the shooting.

Do you want to live in a country in which fascist mercenaries go around shooting people at random?

If the answer is "No," you may have to shift your priorities to focus more energy on organizing and fighting back.

Abolish ICE.

@CrimethInc I'm a little confused as to why this is such a big deal to everyone. Police have been shooting unarmed black people for centuries. Are people upset because this time it's a white woman?
@phoebeweyland @CrimethInc You are absolutely correct that police have been doing so. While I'm sure some people haven't considered it 'real' up until a white woman was murdered, it is also true that it is absolutely an escalation of state violence. Doing constant sweeps, asking to see citizenship papers, ignoring citizenship papers, an extremely heightened level of racial profiling, breaking windows, pulling people out of cars, beating the shit out of people constantly, going up and down streets and breaking into homes, threatening people, asking them to tell on their neighbors... it's very much the same flavor of violence, but it is also at another level. It's very scaled up.

Everyone should always have been upset at what we have allowed the state to do to Black people. Even when Black people tried to get people to care due to self interest (pointing out that it was eventually going to happen to them, too)...

@phoebeweyland @CrimethInc this time, its a lot of people of all walks, stochastically and in front of everyone, and this is a more serious escalation that we all need to consider general action over. Its also indeed a good time to raise awareness of what nonwhite, female, indigenous, immigrant, etc etc, vulnerable communities have ALWAYS felt in america!

Its definitely not time to sleep on all this tho. General action now!
