I think peoples’ inner worlds, internal feelings and emotions have likely shown changing trends of comprehension/awareness throughout our histories and likely through all of time. The nature of consciousness is far from deciphered, so it makes sense (to me) to interpret your reference to reality as the one that we all share, talk about, and know about thusfar (this is how I understood your definition of the term, when upvoting your sentimental statement)

If that’s the only alternative please stick with the word salads. It’s easier to ignore someone who talks too much than someone who assumes they know what someone else is thinking because they blinked wrong.
