This reminds me of the time a young family member was staying with us. He was building some enormous palace out of the inner cardboard tubes from toilet paper. The construction was approaching the size of Versailles before anybody thought to ask where he was getting quite so many tubes.

Suffice it to say that the toilet paper had not been used in the normal course of things, and the downstairs loo was blocked for about a week. Dad was not amused.

@linguacelta @cmconseils At eight I decided to be a knight for Halloween. I used approximately 1000 staples three cans of silver spray, paint and every brown paper bag in a three block radius, for my very intricate completely articulated suit of armor. My father was not pleased that I had used every staple in the house lol although after seeing the final product He actually praised it. 🥰 🤣

@linguacelta I wish but it was long before cell phones lol I also made Cinderella’s chariot for a friend that same Halloween. I was always making stuff. In 5th grade me and a friend drew horse outlines on 10 by 10 pieces of plywood and filled them in with glued on pinto beans.LoL Sold our Pinto Ponies door to door till we got bored.
