Wake Up Dead Man: Knives Out Mystery 2025, A+, streaming, directed by Rian Johnson, starring Daniel Craig, Benoit Blanc is back to solve another mystery. This was my favorite Knives Out movie. Johnson does a wonderful job making a story with a powerful viewpoint that feels completely part of the film. There's some funny parts but this is more dramatic than the other two films and it didn't bother me. Really enjoyed the themes of faith, religion, and abusive leaders, Bravo.
Hands of Steel 1986, D, DVD, directed by Sergio Martino, starring Daniel Greene. Cyborg is hunting down a scientist who holds the fate of humanity and then hides out in a bar. I don't think it's even appropriate to say this is a poor man's Terminator. It's like if somebody put a film print of the Terminator into the teleportation device from the Fly remake and also the most boring piece of garbage you can find then this film came out. Basura.
The Manster 1959, C, DVD, directed by George Breakston, Kenneth G. Crane, an American reporter goes to Japan to interview a Japanese scientist then on the nose themes and misogyny happens. I wasn't bored but it took too long to get to the full monster design which I thought was decent, although the final transformation is unimaginative.
Blood Sabbath 1972, D, DVD, directed by Brianna Murphy, starring Anthony Geary, Dude wandering in the woods meets up with some witches who have a problem with clothes. This is basically a tits and ass movie and nothing else matters, it's garbage but I wasn't bored..Not sure if that says something bad about me.
