I use both my MacBook Air display and an external monitor. I have selected the external monitor as the main display in Settings. To me, it would make sense if the App Switcher UI (Cmd-Tab) would then show up on the main/external monitor. It doesn't.
What do you think? Am I missing something?

@claesjacobsson Hmm, for me it does show up on my external (main) monitor… 🤔
@fuzzyhead 👋 When the laptop is open?
@claesjacobsson Yes, both displays side-by-side. I found this answer and it seems to be true: https://superuser.com/a/675455
I set my Dock to auto-hide, so it appears on the bottom of my screen when I move the mouse there. The App Switcher will actually appear on the monitor that last showed the Dock.
Cmd+Tab App Switcher is on the wrong monitor

I have an external monitor connected to my laptop, and the external monitor is set as the primary display. My problem is that sometimes after I've connected the monitor, the App Switcher still show...

Super User
@fuzzyhead Aha, thanks! My problem was that even though I had the external monitor as my main display, I had my displays arranged (in Settings) with the laptop display below the main screen. That made the (auto-hiding) dock always be on the laptop screen, and thus the App Switcher too. Changing the dock position to left instead of bottom made both the dock and App Switcher appear on the main screen. Phew! :-)
