@2001 So this is the last, best chance to really appreciate Stuart Freeborn's fantastic makeup work that created the 2001 hominins. He is best known for his work on Star Wars, creating Chewbacca and Yoda. But he and mime Daniel Richter (Moonwatcher), working closely with Kubrick, made this whole Dawn of Man sequence a master class of cinematic art.
