Idk about this, I'm 100% on board with marijuana being legal but second hand smoke is second hand smoke. I just hope we don't end up re-litigating that.

@deech The headline is kind of click bait. If you read the article, firstly, this is just about Massachusetts, and secondly, the change is that they're setting up a system where any business can apply for a license to have cannabis consumption areas. It's not going to just become acceptable to smoke indoors all over the place.

@cifram I read the article, IMO any consumption that involves smoke should still be outside.

@deech I mostly agree, though I'd be okay with an isolated and well ventilated room. And it's not clear to me from the article that this isn't the case. They say "consumption" which implies edibles to me, and they also never comment on indoor or outdoor. A lot of businesses have outdoor areas, and it's not even uncommon for them to have explicit smoking areas for tobacco right now in those outdoor areas.
