Quick note on tonight’s #Monsterdon entry:

On the Wikipedia entry for the soundtrack to the 1999 Godzilla movie, this comment is made about one of the songs:

“A notable entry is ‘No Shelter’ by Rage Against the Machine, in which a line in the lyrics of the song appears to criticize the film for distracting the public, saying, ‘Godzilla, pure motherfucking filler. Get your eyes off the real killer.’"

@adhdeanasl One of the best Rage songs, and that soundtrack is exactly how I discovered it! I wonder if the band allowed it to be included because of the irony?
