We're temporarily opening registrations on #Holos. Registration via relay web interface is no longer available - only the mobile app allows relay selection and signup.

To test (Android):

1 - Download latest app: https://framadrive.org/s/ZWEWpKQr6Aqp6oF

2 - Enter domain: holos.social

3 - Create your account

Your server starts empty. Search for accounts via name@domain to follow.

@HolosSocial Hopefully you won't mind me reporting a bug here as I don't have an account over there, and don't need any more accounts. All these are minor, but my icon from here isn't showing up, and the follow status isn't accurate.

@HolosSocial Ok, couple more problems... Tried logging in on my tablet too as when I'm home I use that more than my phone, and while it logged in, it showed a blank timeline and that I wasn't following anyone. Actually at this point its not even connecting Also the web interface shows no active sessions even while holding my phone logged into my account.

Each app instance runs its own ActivityPub server so your data lives on your phone not the relay. Your tablet is a separate server with its own timeline and follows.

For the web interface, you should be able to login there to manage your account settings or delete your data. If sessions aren't showing that's a bug. The web panel is for account management not viewing your timeline.

Multi-device sync is on the roadmap but not priority during beta. For now each device is independent.

@HolosSocial I was afraid that was the case, though I wondered if'n the two devices would simply sync.
Noted, I had wondered what it did, and was surprised when it wasn't reporting anything.
I think the only thing left is the bug in my first post.
