@iFixit We had a fridge where the handle was broken. I used to put it back into place and ignore it, gripping the door itself by the edge to pull it open.

It was great with guests around, they'd grab the (broken) handle and pull it off the fridge with a shocked look.

To this day, I still use this method to open other fridges with perfectly functional handles.
