Thinking about the Northridge quake in L.A. for some reason. Earthquakes are horrifying to me and I grew up in tornado alley. You can see tornadoes coming. But yeah, I was in San Diego about a year after that for a Marine Corps graduation at 29 Palms. We drove up to L.A. and saw the double decker overpasses that had fallen, trapping people on the freeway. I shudder to think about it even now.

Not sure why that memory popped up.

@TheJen I was in the ‘89 Loma Prieta earthquake. Still think I prefer not knowing it’s coming. Although I really dislike bridges over water and double decker freeways now…
