An experimental mRNA treatment has converted the liver into an immune cell “nursery” that pumped out greater numbers of healthy T cells in mice. Since the immune system has a powerful effect on other things like organ health and inflammation, it is hoped that such a treatment in humans might significantly expand our “healthspan”, keeping us healthier and more disease-free later in life.

No thanks. Not at least until we get a solid grip on dementia, Alzheimers, and Parkinsons. Clinically alive, but dead inside is not for me.
I think it’s hard to overstate how important strong immune function and inflammation control is to just about everything else in the body. I sort of think that by 2050 we’ll have identified that inflammation is the moderator for just about every process in the body.
