@evacide I remember reading a lot of news about Google employees' internal protests against contracts with ICE and DHS, I think, 10+ years ago, deeply surprised that such talented and lucky software people escalate such seemingly nuanced issues out of their professional lane (as perceived by foreigner).
@autkin ICE and DHS rely on tools built by the tech industry, an industry where immigrants are a significant and essential part of the labor force. This is very much in their lane.
