Once again I am reminded of this
@Tattooed_Mummy I mean, this is kind of a necessary pre-supposition of innocent until proven guilty. And the idea that we must obey any arbitrary commands by… well, anybody… under penalty of summary execution kind of short circuits that whole concept.
@Tattooed_Mummy The idea that we can be killed for not jumping fast enough to obey whatever demeaning or possibly hazardous command a pig gives us without thought destroys any concept of human freedom or dignity. It’s akin to the command that we just give the mugger our wallet and watch. We may do so anyway in order to survive and live our life or seek revenge, but enshrining it in law is fundamentally illegitimate. In the sense of bastardization.
@Tattooed_Mummy Any state built on the sand of such a concept should promptly die. If not on its own, then with all hands and voices raised against it.

And they didn't even bother to make it a law officially.

@bjb @Tattooed_Mummy When the law comes out of the barrel of a gun, who even needs the law.
