@ai6yr Out of the whole mess, this is what stood out to me, "there's one with a pacemaker still attached to the body." Seems like the funeral home should have disposed of that properly. Some states allow burial some don't. I don't think any allow cremation. I know I got a notice when I got my spinal and heart implants that they will be plucked out at death for responsible disposal... Just saying.

No reason to kill the earth just because Uncle John died with a battery operated device inside him.

Imagine the millions of leaking batteries in the water supply...
