In old German tradition my postman suggests that the way to the mailbox should be free of snow (well, it seems new, first request in 12+ years). Which IMO makes little sense, because snow is grippy and easy to walk upon, no chance to slip. However, I honestly *do* respect his request (and his/her work fwiw).
But because I don't want to clear to whole way to my mansion, I just removed the mailbox from the entrance and moved it to the street. 🤷‍♀️
