Leon Cowle@drdrang As an aside, and not at all contradicting the message of your post (which I completely agree with!), but in case you didn't know: if you use Siri in CarPlay to bring up the directions, and you happen to be happy with the result & default route it picked, just do nothing. It'll activate itself after a few seconds.
Jon Schwenn@leoncowle @drdrang my wife uses that to “go home” and 5% of the time it’ll automatically direct her to a street with the same name in a town 10 miles away. And she doesn’t realize it sometimes until it’s directed her well off the path home.
Siri is not a trustworthy actor.
