The global financial order is being contested By Bakar Jabbie #TruthOverNoise #ResistTheLies Since there’s still confusion about Venezuela, here’s the simplest way to put it without conspiracies. What’s happening in Venezuela isn’t about one single false excuse like drugs or democracy.
Those are the public justifications, real geopolitics is never that simple. The undeniable truth is that Venezuela sits at the intersection of multiple U.S red lines. Energy, sanctions, regional control, and yes financial power. The U.S dollar’s dominance isn’t maintained by speeches,
it’s maintained by systems, alliances, and pressure. When countries start building trade and payment channels that bypass those systems, Washington pays attention quietly. That doesn’t mean there’s some written rule saying, sell oil in dollars or get invaded. Power doesn’t work that way.
But it does mean that moves toward de dollarization, especially by oil rich states aligned with U.S rivals, raise alarms inside Treasury, the Pentagon, and intelligence agencies long before the public hears anything.
Venezuela has been trading outside the dollar, tightening ties with China and Russia, and signaling interest in alternative financial blocs like BRICS. At the same time, it’s been under heavy sanctions, accused of criminal activity, and politically isolated.
When enough of those factors stack up, pressure turns into action. Past experience makes one thing clear. When strategic resources, rival powers, and financial leverage collide, the official explanation is rarely the whole story. Iraq, Libya, and now Venezuela
all had different circumstances, but the pattern is that economic power and geopolitical alignment matter as much as whatever headline justification is used. This doesn’t mean the dollar is about to collapse. It does mean the global financial order is being contested,
and countries that sit on massive resources while drifting outside U.S led systems become flashpoints. Governments won’t say that openly, they never do. But
pretending currency, energy, and financial control play no role at all is just as dishonest as claiming they’re the only reason. Geopolitics lives in the gray space between what’s said publicly and what’s decided privately.
