i'm gonna go berserk because of how weird my problems are and how they have no solutions.

*looks up (my problem) and how to fix it*
"otg cannot be made permanent and even if modified in (code line) it will not change whatsoever and must be enabled using the switch itself."

*looks up (adb related issue)*
"to fix adb not connecting do (this)"
not my issue.
*specifies 'device cannot be read'*
*gets the same solutions*

man, i need a new phone.

for some dumb reason oppo kept installing bloatware on this 5y old phone, erased "display over other apps" toggle, does not have a way to disable battery optimization (apps that request this only create error toasts), and giving accessibility services is impossible because of an unclarified "cannot verify action, please disable any overlaying apps" with no way to know whats actually blocking it.

i deeply regret updating this phone 3 times for all of 5 years.

update 1
display over other apps? privacy violation! *erased it*
acessibility? *made it unusable* now its protected.
"ugh *adb enables it*"

update 2
new bloatware. *eats resources*
otg is no longer permanent.
android/data is now locked.
"why?"

update 3
more bloatware.
new Media Picker that made me no longer use ibis paint or send media files.

"okay, fuck you *disables system updates forever*"
