If you sent a werewolve to the moon, would they be cured? Or would they permanently be in their wolf form?

What if we sent them to a planet with no moon?

Or are they somehow locked into the lunar phase of the planet they were turned on? Even a full moon is somewhat dependent on the side of earth you are on. Inquiring minds.

OK so permanent werewolf on the moon. What about on Mars when the moon is not visible? What about in an underground bunker on earth?

Does it have to be full moon? Does it only happen at that exact moment when the moon becomes full which is, mathematically zero seconds?
If it spans a time duration, how long?

Is it related to the surface area that has line of sight to the Earth? If so, what’s the threshold? Is it a hard threshold or with a jitter buffer?

It usually takes up a whole night. So the calculation might be a bit fuzzy. But not fuzzy enough to span multiple days.

Hmm, so is it light-based? If a werewolf is on a shaded side of the moon, no werewolf, but if the sun shines on them, werewolf time?

Would make for some interesting fiction, actually. Space werewolves that only come out during a lunar day, night is the only safe time.
