Ok, so two things:

1) I forgot the word "salmacian", so I DDG'd "person who wants both sets of genitals" and like the ten top results were about the terms "hermaphrodite" and, further down the list, "intersex".

Fuck cis people and the medicalization of body image and also the Internet in general.

2) I hate the word #salmacian . It's not rational. It just sounds wrong. Ugh. I am such a person but I hate the tern so much. The sound of it is... aaaaargh.

I imagine that's how some people are just viscerally repulsed by the word "moist".

I can't stand it. Is there an alternative term? I'm not self-applying the word. I can't. It's so upsetting AND I DONT KNOW WHY.

@oddtail it reminds me of the word "salmiakki", which is Finnish for salty liquorice
@oddtail the other day I was implementing a button for webdev. The text inside the button was Tree. As in data tree, data strcture that branch. But at that moment, in my head, the word was cut from its context, it felt so wrong I had to do an online search. Seeing next to 🌳 pictures helped me seeing it as a legitimate word and not 4 randoms letters
@oddtail ive seen the word "bigenital" somewhere (in context of "bigenital surgery") and imo its perfectly descriptive and doesnt reference yet another greek mythology rape story
