Still pondering my #NewYear's resolutions for 2026. I think supporting human #curation and rejecting algorithmic dopamine drips should be on that list. But it needs a pithy, actionable slogan.

Related: I've discovered I can stream my favourite radio station on the planet, #WNCW, via the #NPR app.

I've discovered so many cool musicians from their programming. Happy memories of long days spent careening through the #BlueRidge, hoping the next turn would bring us a clear signal from #IsothermalCommunityCollege 😍

hmm. Looks like it's only a partial feed, periodically interrupted by NPR programming (and not just the NPR programming that's actually broadcast by WNCW)

@plantarum "Find Not Feed!"

one could use imagery of animals foraging gayly in fields or such

the obvious counterpoint is high concentration farms where animals are fed

feels like a rich vein of imagery

@electrocutie @plantarum I would find this one confusing. I don't want to give the implication that people shouldn't be fed. It could maybe even be interpreted as "people should fend for themselves instead of governments taking care of them.”
@Cassandra @electrocutie keep in mind this is not a public advertising campaign! It's just going to be a line in my journal, I can count on my audience to understand the intent :)
@plantarum This is a good one.
@plantarum I've seen discussion, I think, of things like blog lists becoming popular again. I'm using more bookmarks now that searches are so corrupted. Quality sources of information and art.
