@ariaflame @mastodonmigration What a ridiculous comment. Her career was in politics and wanted to represent us as President. She lost and went away for a year instead of continuing to fight, and only popped up to sell a book. What kind of leadership is that? The kind we have seen from Democrats and has gotten us into this mess with incompetent opposition and the kind you evidently support.

@shsbxheb @mastodonmigration Also I live in a reasonably functional democracy, where we don't have a popularity contest for our leaders, and we have ranked choice voting for our representatives so that it is difficult to split the vote. Oh and everyone who is eligible votes.

@fnordius @mastodonmigration as far as I can tell, BlueSky people didn’t raise over a million dollars for her —like we did on Mastodon— and continue to be ignored. Sure, she’d be better. But also to hell with her for losing and for proving the right’s claims of elitism

I think political parties ought to jump at running their own servers, same with media outlets, but they suffer from inertia. So… baby steps.
