For avgeeks who are wondering, even with a low overcast, from my place we were able to see with binoculars part of PDX Runway 10L. We saw a KLM 787-10 lift off and promptly disappear into the clouds. Without ADS-B tracking and binoculars it would have gone unnoticed.
