Who is making all of this content I’m seeing lately - tons of shorts and some full videos. Is it all AI? I know there was a short film made by amazon as part of their game World series, but what about the rest?

I have no idea who you are talking about. There are many established channels. I’m sure there are a lot of low effort/AI videos, especially when it comes to shorts, but if you could point to some specific videos that would help answer your question.

In the last month or so my YouTube has been full of vids like this, whereas before I’d never seen one. Given how aggressive GW are with the ip, I just wondered if they are officially sanctioned or what. Some seem quite well made, others not so much.

    I immediate recognize the first clip as the Dawn Of War intro. The third is from the Amazon produced Secret Level 40k episode. Second video I’m unsure of off the top of my head, I think it may have come from something relating to one of the Mechanicus games.

    These are just part of the flood of never ending low quality content in YouTube shorts (not just 40k shorts, but shorts overall). Channels taking official animations, slapping some dumbass text and music over them and calling it a day. GW defends their IP (sometimes overly heavy handedly), but they realistically can’t and aren’t going to go after every single shorts channel.

    My solution would be to stop watching shorts.

    Oh, absolutely. I watched a couple, and now that’s seems to be all the tube is showing me. I have actually seen secret level, I didn’t watch the clip I posted or I would have recognised it. It was just the 3rd one on the page when I opened it 😂

    You’re gonna have to be more specific, my guy.

    There are a lot of real people making stuff and a lot of AI. Generally, I think it’s pretty easy to tell which is which, but if you want to be sure you can’t just gesture broadly at the whole site and expect us to know what you mean.

    I like Black Pants Legion and they're basically the only set of creators I've watched regularly for 40K content.
