for anyone who didn't grow up around an arena: the zamboni attachment scrapes the top layer from the ice, heats it and mixes it with hot water, and then returns it as a thin layer of hot water behind the machine, behind the rubber flap.
this little lawn tractor version is nearly identical to the full-sized nhl version in operation (without all of the nice panel toggles sadly)
