Anyone here have a #SSDI #SSI Psych CE? I have one in just under 4 hours, Any advice?

My psychiatrist and therapist (and I) don’t think there’s any clinical need for it, so I’m mentally seeing it like a social security interview masquerading as a mental health appt? Is that my best MO?

It went well-ish??? I’m shocked??

Dr seemed to actually know what hEDS was, a little about ME/CFS, etc. We covered some ADLs & high level but accurate mental health. I described energy envelope & PEM. He even read me parts of his notes to ask if I agreed.

It was 3 hours. Most was brain testing, I did too well on visual & vocab prolly, but he seemed to understand a certain baseline doesn’t mean no mental health or cognitive impairments. Because it was so long, brain fog did pop up at times.

My partial psych hospitalizations came up which I don’t think were in the case? (maybe? Can’t remember the brain fog is so bad after all that brain exertion but I don’t think so) , so that was a good since I was told usually people my age only get approved if we have mental and physical disabilities

hopefully might offset “patient is S tier at visual puzzles” 🙈

seriously I kinda wanna get those blocks and that book I fuckin loved that shit

Anyone know games with vibes like this?

@moss Not card-based, but have you played the video game Fez? In it, you play as someone given a magic fez that reveals their 2d world is actually just one of four sides of a 3d world. The game involves a lot of similar spatial design manipulation.
@handmade_ghost I also love monument valley, which is maybe a slight kin?
@moss Ooh--yes! I love the MV games (esp. the first two), and there are definitely overlaps in how you manipulate the field of play.
