Calling #dns and #homelab nerds:

I'm looking for a DNS provider that A) doesn't break the bank if things go pear-shaped, B) can be updated via API from a dynamic DNS address, and C) isn't run by soulless monsters or gutless cowards.

What's your preferred external DNS provider?

@Stegosaur I use selfHOST over a decade now.

They’re a local German provider offering static and dynamic DNS. You can update the IP via API.

Their website is ancient, but their service is top-notch. Never had any issues with them.

I recently found #Porkbun. They have reasonable rates, mature API & supported by #DNSControl.
