Am I weird/bad for liking Avatar (the blue people one, not the airbending one) (the first movie)?

Everyone calls it crap, but like, I kinda like the "fighting back against destruction of the environment" premise. As well as the whole "realizing he's with the bad guys and breaking away" arc.

(never seen the other movies, apparently there's a third one now? friend said it was crap so don't really wanna see it, or the second one, but they also said the first was not great either)

@IceWolf for some reason a lot of people like to hate them but they're very genuinely fun and engaging, better than the vast vast majority of mega budget movies coming out today (i haven't seen the third one yet because my fiancé is visiting but the second one is awesome imo)
