The storm has finally passed, thank the gods, and we got a total of 18 inches of snow. Going on 24 hours without power, this kerosene heater has been a lifesaver.
We have named him Bender. Yes, that is a bowl of fruit and cookies I have given in offering to our new hearth god.

@Cat_LeFey oh my goodness! That's a heck of a storm. I'm very rural around Allegheny National Forest, US. We had crazy winds today and a tree came down blocking the road, but we have kept power so far. Stay warm and may your electric come back on soon.

When my furnace died during -20c & would take yet another day or two to replace, our fireplace did the work. You better believe we gave offerings & thanks to the fire.
