Joe Rodricks@christianselig does it use UWB? Hyundai’s “Digital Key 2” does and it’s magic. It works exactly like having the key fob in my pocket.
I only use the fob when dropping my car off for service now. I don’t think I’ll ever buy a car again that doesn’t have UWB phone key support.
It falls back to NFC, but I’ve never had to use it.
