Seriously though, complaining about younger generations' senses of humor just alienates them and serves no real purpose. I grew up with "lolrandom" humor. This isn't any different. You don't have to understand.
Aubrey Powell@endrift Hey, I've been annoyed by this sort of humor for 20-30 years. It's not a generational thing, or a "complaining about the youth these days" thing. Gen Alpha may have pioneered 6/7, but they didn't pioneer this kind of humor. It's been a thing as long as I can remember, and I've always thought it was a bit obnoxious.
But, as I've gotten older, I've gotten better at just rolling my eyes and letting other people enjoy their nonsense. No need to yuck their yum.
