1) Merry Christmas to both of you.
2) THAT was some proper thinking.

3) we’ve been offloading knowledge and understanding since we developed written language - what seems different this time is the algorithm that puts that dispersed knowledge to us for consumption ( and recall) and those algos work both ways, shaping both consumer and creator.

I’m going to be thinking about this for a while now.

@kissane @gleick this amazing. Makes me think of @RadioFreeTom focus on expertise. Ponder if community trust is a tool for your idea of 'densification' due to the increase in cohesion/ friction. If a focus on the individual in the US is both the reason for innovation and why we are prone to conspiracy.
