In the winter of 2018, Icelandic photographer Rebekka Guðleifsdóttir wanted to show her partner, who was away in the capital, how much it had snowed overnight at their home and posted a photo of herself on FB #WomensArt ❄️

I don't think those clothes are going to dry before April.

@Natasha_Jay

@iamdavidobrien @Natasha_Jay Canadian checking in... clothes actually dry at about the same rate in the middle of winter as they do in the summer. You just need to give them a good shake to get the last ice crystals off before you bring them in.

A simple intuition to go along with this crazy idea: ice cubes shrink due to evaporation as well.

@Natasha_Jay that’s fucking insane. But great art

@Natasha_Jay
I saw what appeared to be a Hills Hoist and instantly assumed this photo was taken in Australia.

It took a few seconds for logic to kick in.

Great photo btw! ✌️

For some people, it's getting harder to spot AI.

@Natasha_Jay

Very cool photo. And I’m not gonna lie her name sounds pretty badass too.

@Natasha_Jay

What sort of ultra-ruggedised clothes pegs don't shatter when squeezed open in those temperatures?

@isol @Natasha_Jay Wooden ones like we had all my life?
@Natasha_Jay needs a bannana for scale,she could be a really short person far away
