Hang a new nut feeder in the bush this morning. First guest, a gorgeous green woodpecker, and then a bunch of great tits.
Bird TV is the best.

@mi we just get entire families of magpies but at least we have worked out a truce, rather than "I put a feeder out and they absolutely destroy it within a day"

@outie my original plan was to get a bird table with mealworms just for the magpies and the robins. Then I went to the bird feeder aisle of the garden centre and accidentally lost my impulse control, again...
