The Eddie Show 🎄📷🎧❤️📷 A year ago tonight, a friend in the 1960s subdivision where we lived won "Best Christmas Decorations" as she had for several years running. I was there, chatting with her when the HOA came to present a small plaque and "Best Christmas Decorations" stake for her yard.
MAY-ree (Mary) and I met a few months earlier. Learned she'd lived in the house all her life and that she knew my parents, friends of her own.
That kind of weirdness was inexplicably common in the years I spent in the subdivision.
