@jlledom @signalapp thats the point of signal. It is a foundation so you can donate to it and there is no mega corp that could be influenced.

@jaredwray @signalapp yeah, that's true. But how much would it cost to maintain such a infrastructure? Not less than several tens of millions per year for sure. I'm reluctant to think signal can be funded only with donations from regular people like me. And big donors would want to get something in exchange, don't you think? It'd be good if signal disclosed who is paying for it.
