One detainee being interviewed was a college student in Colombia. He waited in Mexico until his scheduled 2024 immigration interview in California.
At that appointment, he was told he was considered a danger to society. He claims he has no criminal record—not even a traffic ticket.
He spent six months in detention awaiting a decision on his asylum application before being deported to CECOT.
There, guards began beating him—until he bled.
They slammed his face into a wall and broke all his teeth.
He had no access to the outdoors and no contact with relatives.
The report then describes U.S. awareness of CECOT’s torture practices, followed by footage of Trump praising those practices.
Some deportees reported sexual assault. The detainee states that guards sexually assaulted most prisoners.
Lights were left on 24/7, and inmates were denied clean water.
Disgusting—that’s what the U.S. has become.
Taking people who never broke any law and torturing them for the entertainment of a Mad King.
(And to be clear: we don’t think torture camps should exist for people with criminal records either)
