I suddenly realized I have no idea what the mascot/name for the current or previous Ubuntu releases are...... and that makes me slightly sad somehow.
@BadServo looks like Questing Quokka is the current version, and the previous was Plucky Puffin.
I’ve never really looked into their naming conventions before, so I just learned they use an alliteration with an adjective + animal, which is pretty fun.
(I’m partial to plain Debian myself, they use Toy Story characters, current being Trixie)

@rrgeorge Nice! Never knew about Debian's convention. Used to follow Ubuntu so closely, but have fallen off after years of working with other distros on the server-side, and baffling decisions by Canonical, I'm just completely unplugged. Young 'Servo would be appalled at how far my nerditry has fallen. hehe
@BadServo I also get a big kick out of the fact that the next version of Debian is called Forky, which I find hilarious for one of the most forked operating systems.
