There's a grand stretch in the days.
Meaning what exactly?
Are the days getting longer?
@2legged

@iriyan Yes. The days are getting longer.

This is the first day since summer when today is longer than yesterday

Only in the bad half of earth

In #wallmapu for example today is shorter than yesterday

@2legged

@iriyan Believe it or not, I live on only one half of the earth. My legs aren't long enough to reach into the other hemisphere.

Around 87% of the world's humans live in the northern hemispheres, like me.

There are several tribes down under that think that is a good thing, fewer Northerners moving their way to rape them and their land, suck resources, exploit workers, to keep the North rich and powerful.

But unfortunately the days are getting smaller for them.

#wallmapu was called the Spanish Cemetery at some point, the raping and murdering christians got butchered themselves and at some point they gave up trying. But then the US/Chile empire happened, and the nightmare continues.

@2legged

@iriyan Indeed, they are probably right. My country is ireland, which hasn't just invaded nowhere and colonised nowhere; we were invaded and colonised by the world's most prolific coloniser. It took us 753 years to push them out of even part of our island.

So good luck ejecting the colonists from your hemisphere. 👍

Meanwhile, my days really are getting longer. And yours are getting shorter....

I lost and didn't meet some relatives in the war against the British occupation of 1944-1948, the only ww2 ally attacked by the English empire after ww2 was over.

I have also named one child Iris and it wasn't only because I like Rory Gallagher ;)

So some battles were lost, but the war is not over. Maybe it never will, unless we give up struggling and start voluntarily obeying.

@iriyan Greece was treated appallingly by both the Gemans and the Brits.

The Brits screwed you over the same way as they screwed us. Offered to help, then ourstayed their welcome, sad took over.

But you had less than a decade of them. They still haven't left our Island after 856 years.
