Tea time.A new Russian govt. economic forecast confirms a chronic budget deficit until at least 2042. In the baseline scenario, it will reach $271.9 billion in 2042 (2.9 % of GDP), in the conservative scenario – $688 billion, or 8.4 % of GDP.
Of course, these forecasts ALWAYS have rosy estimates as to inflation, currency price, oil & gas exports, business closures, etc. They are getting uglier, but not as ugly as the reality of the situation.
It is getting / will get MUCH worse.
