I was wondering why this crappy Nest doorbell never actually showed video once the subscription expired. I thought it was some network issue or bug with the Nest app, but nope it’s apparently by design. Pretty sure this used to be 24 hour history + video playback.

@paul The installation is harder, but if you can swing it: Unifi. I ran PoE to my doorbell, and it’s great. My HomePods are the chimes, because I’ve been too lazy to install the PoE chime. (Homebridge for HomeKit connectivity)
