remember when firefox was all "customise your experience with extensions" before they conveniently forgot they could add all this AI bullshit as extensions?

any opt-out in the core browser doesn't matter if they're going to override your choices every upgrade.

literally the only useful ML-aided tool they've shipped is the local translations. okay, that one's proved itself, but why would i willingly waste the limited resources of my machine on stuff like tab grouping?

i am not sure what an 'ai browser' is, but it sounds to me like slack for bots. this is quite a different thing than a web browser, actually.
@dysfun I'm almost certain that the phrase "AI browser" doesn't actually refer to anything, it started with that one OpenAI press release where they put the 2 words next to each other but I don't think at any point there has been any idea behind it
